General Conditions of Participation

By answering this call for entries, the designer accepts de facto the general conditions of participation hereunder.

The participation in this call for entries is completely free. However, the participants are responsible for:

• Transportation to and from the exhibition space, the packing, the insurance during the transportation and the possible customs fees for the selected objects.

• The sending and the submission of texts and pictures necessary for the realization of two pages in the RECIPROCITY catalogue which will be dedicated to the exhibited object (deadlines will be given later).

Incomplete files will not be accepted.

The designer agrees to comply with the different deadlines indicated in the participation modalities.

The organizers of RECIPROCITY are responsible for:

• the civil liability insurance
• the insurance of the selected object, from its arrival at the exhibition space until its departure
• the general scenography and the panel for each object
• the publication of the selected objects in the official catalogue, on the website et and in all the media of general communication.

 

Participation Agreement

The designer allows the organizer to exhibit his/her work for the duration of RECIPROCITY 2012.

The designer allows representation, reproduction and communication of the whole or a part of his work, only for promotional or informational purposes and in publicity related to the activity of the organizer, in any process and in any media as described next: magazines, postcards, billboards, numeric and silver prints, partner files of RECIPROCITY, catalogue, film, video clip whether they are on the website or in numeric media, paper, CD-Rom video, etc., and also radio, cable TV, satellite, TNT, billboards, flyers, Internet, etc., and on any paper media, video (such as CD-Rom), DVD, numeric, visual, etc.

The designer also allows the visitors to take pictures and/or film his/her exhibited project(s).

These authorizations are valid all over the world and for the legal duration of the copyrights in Belgium.

Any other use will be the object of an agreement with the designer.

The designer, who signs this document, declares to be entitled to the rights relative to the work and to all the authorizations for the uses given here above.

If the designer has special rights on a visual or a project, if he/she wants confidentiality regarding one of them or he/she is a member of a registered artists association, he/she will have to inform the organizers beforehand.
